Connect your Apple iPhone to your Audi TTS USB port using an Apple-approved Lightning-to-USB cable. Touch Allow on your iPhone when prompted. This allows the use of CarPlay with your TTS while phone is locked. After a few seconds Apple CarPlay will launch on your TTS’ information display.
Product used:The R doesn't do edge to edge but it does still get large and looks very good. The center screen in the R is MILES nicer than the one in the S3 (2018 R vs 2019 S3). It's quite fast, very crisp, and has touch functionality and more real-estate. It's a very nice screen for a not hugely expensive car.The 2017 Audi A3 was the first to include Apple Carplay as standard equipment. Since then, every model year has included the option of using the display screen to access Apple Carplay. Before before, Bluetooth, USB, or auxiliary connectivity were the only options for connecting an Audi system to a mobile device.
