I have had a similar problem for a few months, and have not found a fix. I have done lots of experimenting, upgrading and downgrading! I initially thought bad map discs or damaged drive. However, it appear to be neither. I found if you remove the map disc the radio will stay on. I have tried 3 map discs, and the radio restarts every few seconds.
