Put that exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Far Cry 4\Support\Software\VCRedist. 4. Rename it to vcredist_x64.exe (just like the original file!) While checking that, if you find that your game isn't on the C drive, you may have found the real problem. Uninstall the game and then install it to the C drive and see
Same issuse.. but i solved the problem (hardware amd fx 8370, 16gb ram, 2x 7970 ghz that´s not the problem) The trouble is the AMD Gaming Envolved app and the Logitech Gaming Software (G510) in combination. When i close the Logitech software sometimes Far Cry 4 runs great, otherwise when i close the AMD Gaming Envolved app sometimes it runs too.If you are using Windows 8, start-up programs can be disabled through the task manager. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to go the task manager and go to the start-up tab. then reboot and try the game again. you can then go back and re enable those by going back in task manger. if its still not working.
